I still feel 21...
can't download a pic blogger not cooperating
So I haven't posted for awhile..Wonder if anyone reads this thing anymore (if ever)....anywho, David on the lake reminded me of something that I feel all the time....I refuse to grow up I don't want to be an adult...Adults are too serious, have responsibilities, think too much...I want to run and do and play...I miss summer vacation....eating cotton candy...riding bumper cars...being silly..skipping for no reason....I still love going to the toy store and looking at all the new toys and wanting to buy all of them....but then I have to become that sensible adult that I hate and tell my kids only one at a time....I still love the marvelous midos machine, country yossi, kivi and tuki (though as much as my kids love him uncle moishe gets on my nerves) I sing along to all the songs and my kids look at me in wonderment how I can possibly know what they're gonna say next...Sometimes I look at my kids and I wonder when is thier mother coming to pick them up?

right on...i agree with u about being so "adult" and forgetting the simple pleasures of days gone by when seeing a duck float by on the lake was cause for excitement...we should all keep smiling and try to keep the fun going (adult fun rox too..wink wink) and we should hope that all our dreams and desires come true shortly..party on, open..

Open, We'd all read this more often if you'd write more often!
We need to figure out how to make this place more interesting to those for whom it was originally intended, so that when we do come visit, we can find someone other than curiousone (male) to chat with.

I'm a kid sometimes too. I guess we just need to balance the kid and adult in us.

curiousone,
I'm not ragging on you. I just wish this blog would be what it was meant to be - a place for frum bi women to chat. You may be frum, you may even be bi (?), but you're not a woman. (Not your fault, though.)

curious--you're right i'm not discounting adult fun :)
chaya--thanx for reading...do you have any suggestions on how to attract the women we're looking for?
s-- definitely...we have to keep to our adult responsibilities while still remembering to stop and have a good time
eshet--as long as it made you smile in the end it was worth it :)

Open,
Post more often! Let's get people to come here because there is something interesting to read, and possibly interesting comments in response to your posts.
As far as getting women to come, I guess your posts would have to be interesting specifically to women. I checked out some of the old ones, and some of those were really good, and geared to US! And I love the pictures!! I know it doesn't keep the men away (they love the pictures too), but maybe it would attract more women. Just a thought...

for some reason I feel this appropriate. Read on my friends:
SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day
On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,
Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time
To call and say,"Hi"
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift....
Thrown away.
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

I am a child too! (i.e. Hello Kitty bracelet... )I feel like i play dress up everyday when I put on make up and high heels! Its great to have a young outlook, but as an adult I surely feel the weight of responsibilities and decision making. I feel its truly the best of both worlds.

blogger is a pain in the ass when it comes to uploading pictures. try choosing "none" when it gives youa choice of layout when uploading, and it usually works betetr than if you choose
"center" or "right" or "left"

I second JBF. A git gebentched yur. Smile and don't grow up. The minute you act and feel old, you will be. I'm not saying you need to run around with a lollipop and doing cartwheels wearing bloomers...although that sounds...nevermind lol.
