I'd rather listen than talk when having a conversation...not that I keep quiet but I prefer to hear what someone else says then go on and on and on...well you get my meaning..

Hi everyone! Yea, it's been awhile but I'm back for now....I recently gained a new appreciation for life...

A family that we know recently made a seudas hoda'ah for a horrific car accident that surely should have left them all dead...amazingly enough they all survived but it left them scarred, physically, emotionally and mentally....hearing them speak with such gratitude and appreciation for hakadosh baruch hu made me realize that for all the hardships and conflicts we go through in life we can't let them define us....we have to go beyond them and search for all the good, and all the generosity, that hashem grants us, because what makes us think it is owed to us? In one second it can all disappear....a car accident, a fire, a flood, a terminal disease chas veshalom....it can happen...
to anyone...
anywhere...
anytime...
none of us are immune...we can only hope and daven that if such a catastrophe would chas veshalom happen to us we would be lucky enough to be zoche to overcome and survive....

kinda makes you think how the things that bother us today seem so petty and unimportant in light of the big picture....
